Some smoothies, especially the ones made in your home from whole fruits and vegetables, are rich in nutrients, loaded with fiber, high in vitamins, minerals, and good for your well-being. Below is another one of my favorites, the Matcha Protein Smoothie.

Ingredients:
1 pear (skin on)
1 cup of spinach
1 cup almond milk (original or vanilla flavor)
½ tsp of matcha tea powder
2 scoops of vanilla protein powder
Put all ingredients in a blender (or NutriBullet) for 30-60 seconds until smooth and creamy. Pour into your favorite glass and enjoy!
Benefits of this smoothie:
· The pear adds Vitamin C and fiber.
· The matcha boosts metabolism and burns calories.
· The protein powder helps reduce hunger and allows you to stay full longer.
· Spinach is an extremely nutrient-rich vegetable. It contains high amounts of vitamin C, vitamin K, folic acid, iron and calcium.
