my story

For the longest time, I thought I had the whole health thing figured out. Mixing in plant-based meals a few days a week and sipping on herbal teas, I believed I'd found a sweet spot of balance that didn't require too much explanation or drastic changes in those less-than-plant-friendly settings (i.e., social outings). But, oh, how I was mistaken. Some days I felt on top of the world, other days, not so much, leaving my body in a state of confusion. And if my body was a whirlwind, imagine the chaos in my mind! Fast forward to 41, and I faced a serious health scare, a wake-up call that had me juggling between vegan and pescatarian diets, ditching dairy but not fully embracing plant-based living.

And then there was the weight rollercoaster, sometimes a bit more to love, other times skinny but with a stubborn belly. It all led to a bout of depression and anxiety, something I'd never experienced before, and suddenly I was on medication.

​

I knew deep down, something had to shift. I've always been a beacon of happiness, and I longed to reclaim that energy. This shift materialized as a commitment to a full plant-based lifestyle – no meat, fish, dairy, or processed foods. This wasn't just a diet change; it was a life overhaul. It turned me into this energetic, fit, and focused version of myself, eating plants in their most natural state. "I'm in Love with ME again!"

But this journey is ever-evolving. Beyond just my waistline, I've grown passionate about disease prevention and ensuring a quality life as I age and one that I want to share with you.
